TLC Engineering Solutions is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to lead electrical design on complex, high-impact building projects in healthcare, education, commercial, hospitality, and government markets. In this role, you will develop power, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems from concept through construction documents, ensuring code compliance and high performance. You will coordinate closely with multidisciplinary MEP, structural, technology, and energy teams, manage project scope and quality, mentor junior staff, and support sustainable, community-focused engineering solutions in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design for complex MEP building projects across healthcare, education, commercial, hospitality, and government markets
- Develop power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, low-voltage, and sustainable electrical systems from concept through construction documents
- Coordinate closely with mechanical, structural, technology, and energy teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions
- Serve as project engineer managing scope, schedule, quality, and technical deliverables for multiple concurrent projects
- Perform load calculations, short-circuit and coordination studies, and apply relevant electrical codes and standards
- Review and seal drawings, specifications, and submittals; support construction administration and field issue resolution
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and quality reviews for junior engineers and designers
- Support client communication, presentations, and proposal efforts while promoting innovative and sustainable design strategies
