Industrial Cost Accountant

Industrial Cost Accountant will support the Head of Controlling with all Industrial Finance matters relating to manufacturing accounting, cost performance analysis & Inventory control.

$70,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

• Support the Head of Controlling in completing the Annual Standard Cost Roll calculation for all Sites. Including Production & Overhead Rate Calculations, and Reviewing the SAP ERP inputs on Material Cost, Bill of Materials and Routing's
• Monthly Reporting and Analysis of all Industrials KPI's including Manufacturing & Purchasing, Under/Over recovery, Production Variances, Scrap and Rework Spend, Department Spend, and Productivity & Efficiency KPI's
• Conduct Sales & Standard margin analysis versus Forecast & Budget ;
  Explanation of variances (Volume, Mix, Sales Price)
• Support Annual Mid Term Plan (MTP) , focusing on Margins & Manufacturing performance evolution & updating for Monthly Rolling Forecasts where applicable.
• Month End Closing support includes;
  Calculation of E&O Reserve, Scrap Accruals, Inventory Balance Sheet Reconciliations and ensuring compliance with Safran policies.
• Support Year End Physical Inventory & Monthly Cycle Counting Process
• Respond to & assist Ad Hoc Cost Queries (New Materials) & Commercial bid activity from the business
• Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture
• Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or Finance.
• Exposure to a manufacturing environment preferred.

Knowledge/Skills

• Requires proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Power BI)
• Familiar with SAP an advantage
• Organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines
• Independent and solution-oriented way of working
