Job Description:
- Reviews and/or prepares Notices of Violations for the Officer and perfects service via certified mail.
- Reviews Affidavit of Violation prior to submittal to the Office of County Attorney.
- Determines legal descriptions and property ownership from Tax Collector, Property Appraiser Records and Clerk of Court.
- Provides necessary research for the Code Enforcement Officer related to parcels that are in violation.
- Provides necessary data input, attaches pertinent documents and creates cases in the computer tracking system.
- Communicates with abatement contractor(s) regarding abatements of violations.
- Prepares supporting documents for case investigations.
- Compiles information for public records requests.
- Updates the Code of Ordinances of Sarasota County Florida with administered supplements.

Monday
-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
About You
- Minimum Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma or its equivalent
- 2 to 5 years of clerical experience.
- An Associate's Degree can substitute for the required experience
- Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of experience in code enforcement is preferred
- Related Professional Certification preferred
- FACE Certification
Pay: $16.75 - $18.50
