Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team in Sarasota, FL. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and support patient recovery and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess and monitor patient health conditions and record relevant information.
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
* Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
* Provide patient education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and post-treatment care.
* Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
* Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies.
* Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
* Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
Qualifications
* Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
* Previous nursing experience preferred but not required.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required;
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
* Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
Work Environment
This position is based in Sarasota, FL 34239, and may involve working in a hospital, clinic, or other healthcare settings. The role requires standing for extended periods, lifting or moving patients.
