Mobile Auto Service Technician - Sunset Chevrolet

Sunset Chevrolet is looking for a dependable Mobile Technician / Field Service Technician to provide on-site GM Automotive Service diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance for customers in the field. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, traveling to different locations, and working independently.

Key Mobile Technician Responsibilities/Job Duties

* Travel to customer locations to perform repairs, maintenance, and installations

* Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or electronic issues

* Use tools and diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve problems

* Communicate clearly with customers regarding service needs and solutions

* Complete service documentation and reports accurately

* Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle

* Follow safety guidelines and company procedures

Mobile Technician Qualifications

* Previous experience as a GM Service Technician, Mobile Technician, or similar role

* Valid driver's license with insurable driving record

* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

* Good communication and customer service skills

* Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying environments

* GM certifications and experience preferred

* Experience in mobile or on-site service roles helpful
