Tractor Operator / Farm Equipment Operator
Location:
Sarasota, FL
Pay: $20/hour
We are seeking an experienced Tractor Operator to join our team in Sarasota. The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating farm or heavy equipment and be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Responsibilities:Operate a John Deere tractor safely and efficiently on dirt roads and agricultural property
Pull and operate grading/leveling equipment attached behind the tractor to move, level, and prepare dirt surfaces
Maintain smooth and even road or ground conditions
Perform basic equipment inspections before and after use
Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns
Follow all company safety procedures and directions from supervisors
Requirements:Previous experience operating tractors or similar heavy/farm equipment required
Ability to work outdoors and in dusty conditions
Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
Ability to work independently and follow instructions
Must be physically capable of climbing in and out of equipment and working extended hours if needed
