MRO Technician
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MRO Technician to support maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations on generator systems and related components. This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical knowledge who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, disassembly, and rebuilding equipment to high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Disassemble generators and related equipment down to the component level
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using inspection tools and troubleshooting techniques
- Repair or replace defective parts, including wiring, internal components, and assemblies
- Rebuild and reassemble units to meet quality and performance standards
- Perform functional testing to ensure proper operation after repair
- Follow technical manuals, schematics, and repair procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, parts used, and work completed
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with established standards
Required Qualifications
- Experience in mechanical repair, maintenance, or overhaul work
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and follow technical manuals, blueprints, or schematics
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge in mechanical, automotive, or equipment repair
- Experience working on engines, generators, or rotating equipment
- Familiarity with electrical components and basic wiring
- Previous experience in a repair, overhaul, or maintenance environment
Interviews are held every Wednesday, there will be a payrate after 90 days.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sarasota, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
