Appliance Repair Technician
Alpha Appliance Solutions is seeking a knowledgeable and dependable appliance repair technician dedicated to providing excellent customer service and workmanship to homeowners across Sarasota and Manatee counties. The primary responsibility is diagnosing, repairing, and servicing kitchen and laundry appliances in residential homes. This is a full-time entry-level position with room to grow.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional and timely customer service
- Diagnose and repair residential appliances
- Utilize laptop and phone to document and research information
- Maintain equipment and company vehicle
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience in appliance repair or equivalent training
- Pass a background check and drug screen
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- You must provide your own basic tools - specialty tools.
- The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance, and the physical ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances
- Full-time employment
- Starting pay is $18-$22 per hour, depending on experience.

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
As an appliance repair technician, you'll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers. In other words, you'll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, as well as electrical work.
You'll deal with more than just appliances, though, as a repair technician, you'll have to deal with people, too.
Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude, have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, work adeptly with repair tools, be okay with lifting heavy machinery, and of course, be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.
