Custom Air & Plumbing in Sarasota, FL is seeking a skilled Residential Electrician to install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in local homes. You'll work on panels, circuits, lighting, and service upgrades while ensuring NEC and local code compliance. Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems, panels, circuits, outlets, and lighting.
- Diagnose electrical issues, propose solutions, and complete code-compliant repairs in occupied homes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to plan and execute jobs accurately.
- Ensure all work meets NEC and local electrical codes and company quality standards.
- Maintain a safe, clean work area and follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Communicate clearly with homeowners about findings, options, pricing, and maintenance recommendations.
- Complete accurate documentation, invoices, and job notes using company systems.
- Coordinate with dispatch, office staff, and field teams to manage daily schedule and priorities.
- Participate in ongoing training to expand skills in electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
- Represent Custom Air & Plumbing with professionalism, integrity, and strong customer service.
