Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in concrete installation, finishing, and repair, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. As a Concrete Worker, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to concrete, including preparation, pouring, and finishing work on construction projects.

This role requires physical labor, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and set up concrete forms and molds for sidewalks, floors, foundations, driveways, and other concrete structures.
• Mix, pour, and finish concrete according to project specifications.
• Smooth and level surfaces of poured concrete using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment.
• Inspect and repair existing concrete surfaces, including removing and replacing damaged sections.
• Operate and maintain concrete tools and machinery, such as power trowels, mixers, and pumps.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and practices on the job site, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work alongside other construction professionals to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Measure and cut materials to fit project specifications.
• Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and preparing surfaces for concrete installation.
• Follow blueprints, drawings, and project instructions to ensure proper execution of work.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proven experience as a Concrete Worker or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, finishing, and curing techniques.
• Ability to operate concrete tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet quality standards.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and project plans.
• Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials and work in outdoor conditions.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety on the job site.
