We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician Supervisor to join a team at a newly established distribution facility in Sarasota, Florida. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience, proven leadership abilities, and a commitment to safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.

• Supervise and lead maintenance technicians across assigned shifts.
• Plan, assign, and prioritize preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment, conveyor systems, motors, controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and facility systems.
• Ensure equipment uptime and operational efficiency while minimizing downtime.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules with operations and facility leadership.
• Monitor work quality, productivity, and compliance with safety regulations.
• Train, coach, and develop maintenance team members.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and inventory documentation.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and facility improvement projects.
• Promote and enforce all safety policies and procedures.

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing, distribution, warehouse, or automated facility environment.
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems.
• Experience troubleshooting motors, drives, PLCs, sensors, and controls.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible 10-12 hour shifts, including day or night schedules.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Sarasota, FL.

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $46.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
