SCAT Bus Attendant​/Detailer - 2nd shift - R12100

Job Opportunity

Sarasota County Government is seeking candidates for a routine service position within the Sarasota County Area Transit (SCAT) department.

This role involves cleaning, washing, fueling, checking, and topping off various fluids in transit buses, maintaining records, and driving buses. The work hours are 40 hours per week from 4:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid Florida driver's license. The position requires the ability to follow instructions, perform physical labor, operate buses safely, and provide good customer service. Operational knowledge of buses, fuel pumps, and other equipment is necessary.

Candidates must pass a pre-employment substance screening.

Salary: $13.00 per hour.
