Visiting Assistant Professor, Management and Business

The Department of Management and Business at Skidmore College invites applications for a full-time, Visiting Assistant Professor position in finance for the  academic year beginning late August, 2026. This is a one-year appointment with responsibilities in teaching undergraduate courses in finance.

Responsibilities:

* Teach 18 credits or 5 courses in finance (e.g., Foundations of Finance, Investments, Banking)

Qualifications:

* A master's degree in finance or related fields (a bachelor's degree with significant industry experience will also be considered).

* Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the college level

Salary: $68,989 to $75,000.

All bargaining unit members shall be covered by a collective bargaining agreement between Skidmore College and Services Employees International Union (SEIU), Local 200 United.
