Pay Rate: $75,000-$85,000/year;

Experience: 3+ years' experience as a paralegal in a law firm or corporate legal environment
Our client in Saratoga Springs, NY, is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support their Legal and Compliance function. This role will work closely with senior leadership and legal counsel, with a strong focus on real estate-related legal matters, along with broader corporate and compliance support. This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal with 3-7 years of experience who thrives in a fast-paced, professional environment and enjoys working across a variety of legal and operational matters.
Responsibilities of the Paralegal will include:
- Assist with day-to-day legal and compliance matters, including corporate entity maintenance and litigation support
- Support legal work related to real estate transactions and documentation
- Draft, review, and maintain policies, contracts, and legal documentation
- Act as a resource to internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
- Assist with vendor due diligence, including preparing analyses and supporting documentation
- Conduct legal research using Lexis and other resources
- Monitor and track developments in relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Maintain organized files and records for the Legal and Compliance Department
- Provide ad hoc administrative and operational support to Legal and Compliance leadership
Qualifications for the role of Paralegal:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience as a Paralegal in a law firm or corporate legal department
- Experience supporting real estate-focused legal work is a plus (environmental experience also a plus, but not required)
- Prior exposure to a compliance or regulated environment preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, and Lexis
- Experience with contract drafting, review, and negotiation support
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, personable demeanor with a proven ability to build strong working relationships
