Day shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30 or 09:00 - 21:30)
Job Description:
As a Registered Nurse in Urgent Care, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve assessing patient needs, administering medications and treatments, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide direct patient care in an urgent care setting.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, including adults and pediatrics.
- Administer medications and treatments as per established protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and document patients' vital signs and medical histories.
- Float to other areas as needed based on patient care demands.
- 5 years of experience in Emergency Room (ER) nursing, including adult and pediatric care.
- Current New York State RN License.
- BLS, PALS, and NIH certifications required.
- Experience with EPIC charting.
- Telemetry skills; EKG proficiency is mandatory.
