Nurse – Telemetry

Schedule:

Days 1:4–5;
Nights 1:5–6. Weekend coverage required.

Assignment Details:
Contract length: to be determined; guaranteed hours/week: to be determined.

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification (can be obtained prior to start)
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in specialty preferred
• Recent telemetry/step-down experience preferred (minimum 1 year)
• Ability to read and interpret rhythms accurately
• Epic experience required

Responsibilities:

• Monitor telemetry patients and interpret cardiac rhythms.
• Administer IV cardiac medications and manage continuous infusions.
• Recognize and manage strokes (CVA).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Compliance / Notes:
Mandatory training modules must be completed by a specified date prior to start. Onsite EKG/proctored exam required after signing; high accuracy expected.
