Secretary II, Student Writing & Reading Center; Part Time

The Student Writing & Reading Center Secretary assists students in making consultation appointments in-person, on-line, and on the phone. The secretary will acquaint students with Student Writing & Reading Center procedures and policies, facilitates students meeting with consultants, and supports the overall smooth operation of the Student Writing & Reading Center Center.

Clear communication skills and ability to handle stressful situations. Must be able to multi-task.

Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of diverse people, ability, culture, ethnic background, to maintain good working relationships across the College. Ability to work with all groups in a diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic background of community college students, faculty and staff, including those with disabilities.
