Environmental Intern

• per hour Compensation is dependent on experience, education, and other factors of candidate and is not a promise of any specific pay for any specific employee.

As our Environmental Intern for our Environmental team in Utah, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting environmental analysis, research, writing, and mitigation monitoring activities across a variety of public and private development, infrastructure, utility, and transportation projects.

As an Environmental Intern
, you'll support the Environmental team through research, technical writing, field work, and environmental analysis while gaining exposure to a broad range of project types.

• Environmental Research & Analysis
  Conduct research and assist with environmental analysis and documentation for public and private development, infrastructure, utility, and transportation projects.
• Technical Writing & Documentation
  Assist with preparing written materials, reports, and other environmental project documentation while developing professional technical writing skills.
• Mitigation Monitoring
  Support mitigation monitoring activities and assist with documenting environmental conditions and compliance in the field.
• Field Work & Site Visits
  Participate in field activities, site visits, and environmental investigations, including work at outdoor locations and active construction sites.
• Team Collaboration
  Work closely with environmental professionals and project teams while supporting multiple assignments and contributing to successful project delivery.

• Current university student majoring in environmental planning, environmental studies, environmental analysis, or a related field
• Interest in pursuing a career in environmental planning or analysis
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to perform field activities, including moderate walking and standing outdoors
• Comfortable working at active construction sites and other outdoor locations
• Previous internship, coursework, or project experience related to environmental planning or analysis
