Job Title: Part-Time Warehouse Order Picker and Packer
Job Type: Part-Time
Hours: 25-35 hours per week, 9 AM - 4 PM, Monday to Friday (Must be flexible to stay longer occasionally)
Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Warehouse Order Picker and Packer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently selecting products from our warehouse shelves, packing them securely, and preparing them for shipment. This role requires accuracy, efficiency, and a strong focus on maintaining high standards of order fulfillment.
We are a Political Think tank that sells books that are Christian conservative in nature. The ideal candidate will align strongly with Christian conservative principles.
Responsibilities- Order Picking: Accurately locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves based on order requirements.
- Packing: Package products securely and according to company standards to ensure safe delivery. This includes using appropriate packing materials and labeling.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for defects or discrepancies and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory counts and report discrepancies or low stock levels.
- Shipping Preparation: Prepare and verify shipping documents, including labels and packing slips.
- Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe working environment.
- Team
Collaboration:
Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient order processing and meet shipping deadlines.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment role is preferred but not required.
- Skills: Ability to follow instructions, pay attention to detail, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry packages up to [specify weight, e.g., 50 lbs], stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks.
- Work Ethic: Strong reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude toward teamwork and problem-solving.
- Attendance. Calling out sick regularly, or coming up with reasons to leave early regularly will not be tolerated.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
