OrganizationSCAH-Sutter Care at Home - Bay
Position Overview$5,000 sign‑on bonus available to external candidates – in accordance with Sutter Health policy – plus excellent benefits.
Primary coverage:
Sunnyvale, Milpitas, Alviso, Cupertino, Santa Clara and surrounding areas.
Assist in providing physical therapy treatments and performing procedures. May assist in the development of treatment plans, document progress of treatment, and modify specific treatments within scope of the plan of care established by the supervising physical therapist. Adhere to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. May serve as clinical instructor for assigned students.
Education- Graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
- PTA‑Registered Physical Therapist Assistant
- BLS‑Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

Valid Driver's License
- 1 year of recent relevant experience.
- Critical thinking and problem solving, decisive judgement and ability to work within scope of practice.
- Knowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work in demanding work environment, organize multiple priorities and complete work duties within expected timelines.
- Computer and required technology proficiency/competencies.
- Effective and efficient professional communication (verbal & written) skills as well as interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, teamwork/collaboration, customer service and community relations abilities.
- Able to retain and apply new knowledge & skills.
- Keeps abreast of professional practice development and advancement.
- Full time, days shift, 8 hour shift.
- Monday - Friday, variable days.
- Rotating weekends.

CompensationPay range: $43.41 to $54.26 per hour.
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
