Therole
The seasonal school photographer will travel to various schools to conduct school photo day sessions. The photographer will photograph both children and adults and must be enthusiastic about photography and customer service oriented.
What You Will Focus On- Photograph a variety of subjects—children and adults both individually and in groups
- Set up and break down professional photography equipment
- Coordinate the photo session day at the school to ensure an efficient day
- Address a variety of school administrator, teacher and student requests
- Receive training to become a professional photographer if required
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Photography experience not required, but preferred
- Strong customer focus and organization skills
- Ability to deal with multiple and changing priorities
- Experience working with children is an asset
- Experience working in retail and customer service is an asset
- Legal ownership of a reliable vehicle capable of carrying professional equipment; a valid driver’s licence and car insurance are required
- Applicant must pass a Vulnerable Sector Check, as the role involves working with children in schools
- Must be legally authorised to work in Canada
- Monday to Friday – 35 to 40 hours per week, seasonal
- Paid personal days
- Casual dress code
- Mileage reimbursement
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to push up to 80 lbs using appropriate equipment provided
- Ability to stand, walk, bend repetitively for extended periods of time
- Travel required throughout specified region
- School environment from Kindergarten to High School
