Drive sustainability initiatives as the Manager of Sustainability Operations Support at Waste Management. Oversee compliance and logistics with significant travel responsibilities for effective project execution. This pivotal role requires you to lead contract implementations while managing hazardous and non-hazardous waste logistics.
You will consult clients, design proposals, and facilitate contract renewals, emphasizing regulatory compliance and a robust safety culture. With extensive travel up to 90%, you will foster a culture of training and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate hazardous waste logistics and client site operations
- Identify and implement cost‑saving proposals for clients
- Perform inspections for regulatory compliance
- Manage invoicing and financial reporting for clients
- Foster training and create a safety culture in the office
Lead sustainability projects while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational safety at Waste Management.
Requirements- Bachelor's Degree or GED with four years of experience
- Minimum of seven years relevant experience
- Experience with TDG and environmental regulatory compliance
- OSHA HAZWOPER Certification preferred
- Strong customer service and project management skills
