About the Role
The Financial Service Manager will be responsible for after product sales and working with financial institutions to secure customer credit.
Responsibilities (but are not limited to)- Protects gross profit by arranging financing so outside sources do not have an impact on selling margins.
- Generates additional income through the sales of credit insurance, vehicle service contracts, GAP coverage and maintenance plans.
- Responsible for all paperwork involved with the sale of the vehicle, including obtaining customer signatures and securing payoff and insurance information.
- Provides customers with complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.
- Trains the sales staff regarding the benefits of financing, insurance and extended service programs.
- The ideal candidate will have strong automotive and finance knowledge, as well as excellent customer service skills. Must have a minimum of 2 years experience as an Automotive Financial Service Manager.
- 2-3 years’ experience in automotive finance and sales
