District Sales Representative

• Act as the primary liaison between food service customers and Gordon Food Service.
• Manage orders from placement to delivery and address issues along the way.
• Pursue new customer opportunities, strengthen current relationships, and identify growth prospects.
• Provide food service advisory support, system design guidance, and GFS value-added solutions.
• Educate customers on product options, pricing, and availability, including providing samples.
• Use CRM tools to manage customer data, oversee receivables, and conduct business reviews.
• Achieve KPIs for route growth, apply negotiation strategies, and manage the full sales cycle.
• Stay updated on industry trends, culinary networks, sales, profitability, and compliance.

• Minimum of three years in sales or business roles, ideally with exposure to food service or preparation; or equivalent education, training, and experience.
• Strong customer focus with effective verbal communication skills.
• Strategic, innovative, and inquisitive, with high integrity.
• Goal-oriented, organized, adaptable, and open to coaching.
• Proven ability to meet sales targets, manage time and territory effectively, and adapt to program changes.

Demonstrates expertise in managing customer relationships and sales cycles within the food service industry, leveraging CRM tools to optimize customer data and achieve key performance indicators. Strong ability to educate clients on product offerings and negotiate effectively to drive growth.
