Key Responsibilities:
• Perform repairs and rebuilds on major mining equipment
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections
• Troubleshoot and address mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
• Mentor apprentices and provide guidance to junior mechanics
• Follow safety protocols and operate within shop procedures
Requirements:
• Valid Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certificate
• 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with Cat SIS/CAT ET is a plus
