Position: Full Time Licensed Mechanic in Ontario

As a Licensed Mechanic, you will maintain and repair fleet vehicles and equipment for the County of Lambton. Your responsibilities will include conducting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs while supervising equipment operators on servicing tasks. This hands-on role requires a reliable individual with strong technical skills and the ability to respond to repairs in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs on county equipment

• Supervise equipment operators for maintenance compliance

• Carry out field repairs on stranded equipment

• Assist with welding and fabrication tasks as needed

• Conduct regular safety checks of County vehicles

Requirements:

• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent experience

• Valid Province of Ontario DZ Driver's License

• 310T Truck and Coach Technician certification

• Experience in mechanical and welding repairs

• Physical ability to meet job demands
