Licensed Mechanic

Position: Licensed Mechanic at First Student
Drive safety in your community as a 310S Licensed Mechanic with First Student in Sarnia, Ontario. Experience hands-on work with school buses while enjoying a comprehensive benefits package.

As a pivotal member of First Student's maintenance team, you will perform critical repairs and maintenance on our fleet of iconic yellow school buses. You will diagnose mechanical issues, complete detailed work orders, and assist with mobile emergency repairs as required. This position ensures that safety remains a top priority in our daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance on brakes and transmissions

• Diagnose mechanical issues effectively and efficiently

• Complete work orders and maintain accurate documentation

• Assist with emergency repairs when needed

• Collaborate with team members to enhance safety protocols

Requirements:

• Valid 310S Technician license required

• Experience with diesel and automotive vehicles

• Complete set of mechanic's tools

• Safety-focused mindset for growth and development

• Willingness to participate in ongoing ASE training
