Responsibilities:
To work with DTI educational programs, providing all support functions such as: direct calls and respond to general inquiries from the public, in person and over the phone; filing, typing/keyboarding, photocopying, faxing, sorting/routing mail; compose and type letters from general instructions; prepare tables and reports; attend and participate in various DTI meetings; general administrative duties; assist in the maintenance of student records;relevant duties as required by other staff, as well as any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a Diploma or Certificate in the office administration field and a minimum of one-year relevant experience. Candidates with one-year post-secondary and equivalent experience may be considered. The individual must have sound knowledge of, and have practical application skills in, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility, highly motivated and the ability to work with individuals from various equity groups and with little supervision is required.
