Part-time Data Contractor

About the Role

This part-time contracting role is a crucial part of our Client Solutions team while we scale. The role is online from 6 - 8am PT, supporting data ingestion into Alloy’s platform by 8am PT, performing quality checks, and may also engage in Tier 1 and Tier 2 client support. No advanced technical skills are required; the role is process‑driven and training will be provided.

• Be online and available 5 days a week with Saturday & Sunday a must every week from 6 - 8am PT except for Saturdays where you will be online 10am - 12pm PT.
• Leverage an outlined process for ingesting data into the Alloy Platform by 8am PT which involves logging into a retailer portal, downloading data, and uploading it into Alloy’s system.
• Proactively update the internal team on any issues or delays via Slack.
• Facilitate quality checks to ensure data accuracy.
• If time allows, triage inbound tickets and assign them to appropriate groups.
• If time allows, respond to customer queries in a timely and accurate way via the Zendesk ticketing system.

• Consistent availability on Saturdays from 10am - 12pm PST, Sundays from 6am - 8am PST, and three other weekday days 6am - 8am PST for a total of 10 hours per week, including statutory holidays. Planned unavailability must be communicated in advance.
• Detail oriented and comfortable in MS Excel and Google Sheets.
• Comfortable with data and QAing its accuracy; ability to work independently with effective time management and minimal supervision.
• Experience using Zendesk or other help desk software is a plus.

This is a month‑to‑month contract position with an initial commitment of 6 months. The role is remote and must be performed from the United States or Canada unless otherwise discussed with management. Contractors must meet Alloy’s security requirements, including a basic background check, acceptance of all security policies, and a computer with full hard disk encryption.

Pay is $25 CAD per hour, for a total of 10 hours per week (5 days). Pay will be issued semi‑monthly. This is not a full‑time position and does not offer benefits.
