Join us this summer as a Records Assistant Student and dive into the world of municipal records management. Support electronic records initiatives and engage in valuable community governance work.
Designed for students currently in high school or post-secondary education, this position offers a unique opportunity to learn about Municipal Records Retention Legislation. You will assist the Administrator with managing electronic and hard copy records, gaining essential knowledge and experience in information management. This role fosters both independent and collaborative working skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in document sorting and digitization efforts
• Contribute to the upkeep of various records management systems
• Aid in the evaluation of Municipal Governance records
• Perform other duties as directed by the Administrator
Requirements:
• Must have completed some secondary school
• No experience is needed
• Criminal record check required
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Interest in information management or political science is advantageous
