Take on the role of Shop Coordinator at Rail Works, responsible for streamlining shop administration and supporting the equipment management team. Your organizational expertise will ensure effective documentation and compliance.
In this role, you will report directly to the Eastern Equipment Manager, handling tasks related to shop administration, including record-keeping, invoice processing, and tracking maintenance costs. Your focus on quality control and safety will contribute significantly to the team's success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer shop documentation and manage equipment files
• Conduct compliance reviews and prepare necessary documents
• Assist in monitoring equipment usage and associated costs
• Process purchase orders and track work orders
• Research solutions for supplier and product efficiency
Requirements:
• Completed post-secondary program in business administration
• Knowledge or interest in mechanics desired
• Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and related software
• Capable of effective communication and teamwork
