Join BRT6HC as a Casual Receptionist, providing vital support and communication with the public. Your skills with a multi-line switchboard and understanding of First Nations issues will be valued.

This role requires effective interaction with the community and familiarity with clerical duties. As a Casual Receptionist, you’ll leverage your minimum one year of experience to handle incoming calls and provide administrative assistance. A diploma in business or equivalent experience is preferred, coupled with excellent communication skills for engaging with diverse individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate multi-line switchboard for incoming calls

• Assist customers both in person and over the phone

• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Handle administrative and clerical tasks effectively

• Demonstrate cultural understanding of First Nations issues

Requirements:

• One year of experience with switchboard operations

• Diploma from a recognized business college preferred

• Knowledge of relevant software applications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Successful criminal record check is essential
