Take on a vital role in scheduling staff for city recreation services as a Staff Scheduler in Saskatoon. Utilize your scheduling expertise to keep operations running smoothly.
Under the direction of the Recreation Services Manager, your focus will be on coordinating staff schedules across various department sites. You will collect and revise scheduling information, create efficient work schedules, and make necessary adjustments to ensure staffing levels remain optimal. You’ll also serve as a key contact for staff scheduling queries and work closely with system support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Gather and manage staff resource information for scheduling
• Develop preliminary schedules for supervisor review
• Distribute finalized schedules for staff posting
• Modify staffing as required for operational needs
• Evaluate system reports to address scheduling issues
Requirements:
• High School Diploma (Grade 12)
• Completion of a one-year business program
• Four years of experience in staff scheduling
• Strong organizational and reporting abilities
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
