Position: Urban Office Administrator )

The Urban Office Administrator is responsible for the coordination and day-to-day operations of the Waterhen Lake First Nation (WLFN) Saskatoon Urban Office. This role ensures the office is organized, professional, and welcoming for members accessing services and support.

Working from a respectful and community-centered approach, the Administrator provides frontline support to members, assists with intake and basic service navigation, and maintains efficient administrative systems.

The position plays an important role in supporting members who may be transitioning to the city or experiencing urgent needs by ensuring a stable, accessible, and responsive office environment. This role reports to the Director of Operations at WLFN.

  • Oversee daily operations of the Saskatoon Urban Office
  • Provide a respectful and welcoming environment for all members, assisting with initial intake, identifying needs and providing basic information

Qualifications
  • Diploma or certificate in Office Administration, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 23 years experience in an administrative or office support role
  • Experience working with First Nations communities is an asset
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a quick-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and accountability
  • Cultural awareness and professionalism
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general administrative systems
Working Conditions
  • Based in Saskatoon Urban Office
  • Regular interaction with members, including those experiencing transition or urgent situations
  • Some evening/weekend work may be required
  • Local travel within Saskatoon may be required
