SREDA is seeking a highly motivated individual to assume the role of Advisor, Entrepreneurship. Under the direction of the Director of Entrepreneurship this individual will assist in delivering services to entrepreneurs who require support through SREDAs entrepreneurship program, SK Startup Institute.

The Advisor, Entrepreneurship is responsible for the following:

Provide one-on-one business advising, guidance and strategic support to entrepreneurs primarily in the ideation and startup phase.

Connect entrepreneurs with relevant programs, services, funding opportunities, regulations and other resources to support their business goals

Conduct and interpret market, industry and competitive research from a variety of databases and sources to support informed business decisions.

Inspire and educate entrepreneurs through engaging online and in-person presentations, workshops and other learning opportunities

Represent SK Startup Institute across Saskatchewan by actively participating in networking events, community activities and industry gatherings

Build and maintain strong relationships with entrepreneurs, partners and stakeholders through the promotion of entrepreneurship and the organizations programs and services

Understand and stay current on business trends at the regional, national and global levels; municipal, provincial and federal regulations; and the evolving needs of Saskatchewans entrepreneurial ecosystem

Identify opportunities to improve programs, processes and the client experience through innovation and continuous improvement.

Maintain accurate client records and contribute to program reporting and outcome measurement.

Contribute to special projects and organizational initiatives, which may include event planning and coordination, program development, presentation and workshop scheduling, outreach activities and other initiatives as needed

Travel throughout Saskatchewan on an as-needed basis
