The role
The seasonal school photographer will travel to various schools to conduct photo‑day sessions. The photographer will photograph both children and adults, set up and break down professional photography equipment, and coordinate the session day to ensure an efficient workflow. The successful candidate must be customer‑service oriented and enthusiastic about photography.
What You Will Focus On
Photograph a variety of subjects, both children and adults, individually or in groups.
Set up and break down professional photography equipment.
Coordinate the photo‑session day at school to ensure an efficient day.
Address a variety of school administrator, teacher, and student requests.
Receive training to become a professional photographer.
Other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
Photographic experience preferred, not required.
Strong customer focus and organization skills.
Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities.
Experience working with children an asset.
Experience working in retail and customer service an asset.
Reliable car that can carry professional photographic equipment, valid driver’s license and car insurance required.
Vulnerable Sector Check required as the role involves working with children in a school setting.
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
Bilingual in English/French an asset.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and push up to 80 lbs with appropriate equipment.

Travel required throughout the specified region.
Work in school environments from Kindergarten to high school.
