The City of Saskatoon is seeking a qualified Accounting Coordinator II to lead various accounting and administrative functions. This mid-level role requires expertise in financial analysis and reporting, along with supervising personnel engaged in clerical and financial activities. Utilize your skills to ensure integrity in management reports and assist in budgeting processes, contributing to overall departmental efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Recruit, train, and supervise accounting staff
• Ensure reporting integrity and monitor job costing systems
• Train users on financial business systems and internal controls
• Analyze financial data for senior management
• Coordinate budget processes and monitor capital project status
Requirements:
• Degree in commerce or business administration
• Professional accounting designation (C.P.A.)
• 4 to 6 years of experience in financial analysis
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles
• Effective communication and leadership abilities
