The ideal candidate will possess CPA designation with over eight years of experience in management accounting, product costing, and controlling. A strong understanding of operational cost drivers and proven skills in Microsoft Excel, Power Query, and Power BI are essential. You will collaborate with plant leadership to provide insights that enhance efficiency and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare financial variance analysis and trending
- Collaborate on accurate budgeting and forecasting
- Identify potential financial risks and recommend actions
- Own cost models and conduct annual costing exercises
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports
- CPA designation, in valuable standing for 8+ years
- 8+ years management accounting experience in mining
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of SAP is an asset
- Authorized to work and travel in Canada
