Senior Corporate Accountant

Overview

Elevate your accounting career with Nutrien as a Senior Accountant in Corporate Accounting. Drive critical financial reporting and analysis to support our purpose of Feeding the Future. As part of a leading crop inputs provider, you ll report to the Manager, Corporate Accounting.

This role emphasizes the preparation of management reports, month-end tasks, and cross-functional collaboration with various departments. You will ensure accuracy in financial schedules and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

• Prepare Corporate and NPK management reporting and analysis
• Perform month-end duties, including ledger reviews and journal entries
• Manage information requests from auditors and complete asset verifications
• Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations
• Collaborate with teams for financial schedules and analytical support

• CPA designation with minimum 6 years of accounting experience
• Robust knowledge of IFRS and variance analysis skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience with SAP and Oracle considered a plus
• Effective time management in a deadline-driven workplace
