Join the Federation of Sovereign Indigenous Nations (FSIN) as an Accounting Officer II, specializing in financial coordination and payroll administration. Drive accuracy in payroll processing and contribute to effective fiscal management.
As an Accounting Officer II, your robust background in payroll and financial administration will be instrumental. You'll be responsible for preparing payroll, managing employee benefit programs, and assisting with compliance needs. Your contributions will help maintain the integrity of FSIN’s financial operations.
Responsibilities Review payroll data entries for accuracy and completeness
Reconcile various payroll and pension accounts monthly
Prepare manual payroll calculations when needed
Support year-end financial processes and T4 reporting
Balance remittances and maintain accurate records
Qualifications Minimum five years of related experience in payroll or accounting
Knowledge of financial audit processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software
Robust organizational and time management skills
Familiarity with First Nations regulations and practices
