Make an impact with our National Tax Services Group as a Manager. This diverse team of professionals provides best-in-class industry and technical expertise to internally drive the success of our Tax practice. As a trusted advisor, you’ll work internally to support the delivery of tax services, the development and coordination of key training programs and materials and the communication of tax matters.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain firm standards, processes and tools to support the delivery of tax services to our clientsManage and maintain tax templates in accordance with the latest tax updatesDevelop internal training materials and practice aids to support the implementation of firm standardsFacilitate and assist with firm-wide learning and development events as requiredResearch and keep up to date with the latest changes in local tax legislation; draft internal and external tax publicationsIssue tax technical research and information/support to professionals throughout the firmPrepare and participate in internal tax compliance and planning projectsMentor, motivate and coach team members towards professional and personal development by setting clear expectations, providing feedback and conducting performance reviewsSkills and Experience
CPA designationCompletion of level 1 and 2 of the In-Depth Tax ProgramWritten and verbal French and English language skills, due to frequent collaboration with English-speaking teams/clients across Canada and some client deliverables/regulatory reporting obligation are in English4 to 5 years of relevant tax practice experience in a public accounting firmExperience preparing and reviewing domestic tax compliance and implementing tax reorganizationsExperience with private companies and owner-manager taxation is considered an assetSolid understanding of business, accounting, management and practice development principlesProven people management, relationship building and leadership skills
