Revenue Control Coordinator

Maximize revenue oversight with the City of Saskatoon as a Revenue Control Coordinator. This critical role involves financial reporting, cash handling, and system monitoring to ensure accurate revenue flow.

As a key team member under the Accounting & Revenue Control Manager, you will develop and implement essential procedures and guidelines. This role requires five years of related accounting experience, along with a post-secondary accounting program. You'll review bank reconciliations and generate financial reports, making a meaningful impact on budget integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop procedures for revenue control and cash handling

• Prepare month-end journal entries from revenue transactions

• Review and correct discrepancies in financial records

• Generate and distribute financial and statistical reports

• Coach non-accounting staff during projects

Requirements:

• Completion of a two-year post-secondary accounting program

• Five years of relevant accounting experience

• Knowledge of POSSE or similar systems is an asset

• Strong understanding of accounting principles

• Ability to maintain detailed records with accuracy
