The opportunity:

Reporting to the Senior Investment Advisors, the Team Manager is responsible for leading and developing the support team, ensuring work is delivered accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with business objectives. This role oversees team performance, supports compliance and operational excellence, conducts research for the advisory team, and contributes to strategic initiatives and projects as assigned by the Lead Advisors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • People Leadership & Team Management Provide leadership, coaching, and ongoing support to Associates by setting clear expectations, managing performance, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment. Oversee daily operations and team projects, ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently, and within established service standards. Monitor team workloads, productivity, and KPIs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and identifying opportunities for improvement. Conduct quality reviews and audits of administrative work, client files, and client profiles to ensure accuracy and consistency.

    Support the implementation of strategic people initiatives and operational improvements as directed by the Lead Advisors.
  • Compliance & Research Oversee the maintenance of client files and documentation, ensuring compliance with firm policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. Stay current on industry, regulatory, and firm policy changes and communicate relevant updates to the team. Support and monitor adherence to CIRO requirements, securities legislation, KYC standards, and internal compliance procedures. Conduct research and gather industry, market, and operational information to support Advisors and business initiatives.
  • Business Operations & Strategic Support Act as a key operational resource to the advisory team, ensuring effective execution of client service and administrative processes. Support business development efforts through oversight of service standards, process enhancements, and operational efficiencies. Lead or participate in special projects, strategic initiatives, and business improvement activities as assigned by the Lead Advisors. Identify opportunities to enhance team effectiveness, client experience, and overall business performance.
  • Administrative and Operational Support Act as a general administrative and operational resource for Associates and Advisors (ex: printing statements, tax slips) Complete a variety of administrative tasks related to account management such as preparing Docu Sign information. Prepare daily reports for the Investment Associates and Investment Advisors Provide information, where requested and approved by an Associate or Advisor, on the status of a client’s account and provide account balances, quotes and other marketing information.
