Join the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital's dynamic Catering Services team. You’ll be responsible for supervising staff, managing audits, and ensuring adherence to Food Safety legislation and quality standards. Demonstrated ability to direct and train personnel in food hygiene practices is essential. You will play a crucial role in maintaining high service standards and responding to patient feedback.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily operations and staff training
• Manage audits related to food safety and service provision
• Ensure compliance with statutory guidelines
• Handle the complaints process and service improvements
• Train staff on food quality and hygiene practices
Requirements:
• HNC or equivalent qualification required
• 3 years of experience in a catering role
• Knowledge of Food Safety and COSHH regulations
• Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate essential
• Competency in IT applications related to catering
