Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and personable Front Desk Agent & Night Auditor to join our Front Office team. This role is vital in providing exceptional guest services during evening hours, ensuring smooth hotel operations, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, hospitality experience, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels
Perform night audit duties including balancing accounts, reconciling transactions, and preparing reports
Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations
Ensure the front desk area remains organized, clean, and welcoming at all times
Uphold excellent phone etiquette and provide exceptional customer service throughout all interactions
Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support hotel operations
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs efficiently
Experience
Previous experience in front desk or hotel reception roles preferred but not required
Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills
Experience handling multi-line phone systems and guest services in a hospitality setting is advantageous
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are considered a significant asset
Familiarity with hotel management software is a plus
Prior experience working night shifts in a hospitality environment is an advantage
