Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Senior Administrator, HR & Administration is responsible for supporting the HR & Admin functions of Autism Services as assigned by the Director of Finance or CEO. They will be an integral part of the office support team, assisting the Director of Finance, CEO and Management Team with the HR and administration functions and working to improve administrative effectiveness in human resources, payroll/benefits and general office administration.
ResponsibilitiesThe role includes overseeing HR administration, payroll processing, benefits management, and general office administration tasks to support the organization’s goals and compliance with Canadian labor standards and regulations.
Qualifications / Experience- A certificate or diploma in human resources management or business administration with an HR and or payroll focus or related field.
- 3 years experience as an HR Administrator, familiar with labour standards and strong experience with the human resources lifecycle.
- Experience as a Payroll Administrator, Payroll Clerk, or in a similar role is preferred, with knowledge of Canadian payroll practices, employment standards, tax regulations and immigration as it relates to employment, for example SINP.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems, preferably ADP.
- Strong administration and file management skills.
- Skilled with Microsoft Excel, and other data tools.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong people skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
