This site-based role emphasizes the delivery of effective HR services to prioritize employee experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with HRIS such as UKG, ensuring compliance with company and legal standards. This position requires a proactive approach to engage with Tahltan Nation and support diverse workforce initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee onboarding duties and new hire orientations
• Manage benefits administration and payroll inquiries
• Ensure compliance with employee record maintenance
• Foster respectful engagement with Indigenous communities
• Support exit processes and documentation for departing employees
Requirements:
• Diploma in Human Resources or relevant education
• At least 2-3 years of HR experience in industrial environments
• HRIS knowledge, particularly in UKG
• Excellent organizational and relationship-building skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
