however, the successful candidate must be willing to work a rotational role (2-week on/2-week off) at the Wheeler River Site in Northern Saskatchewan.
Conduct all duties in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner
Develop, update, and deliver training programs utilizing our Systematic Approach to Training (SAT), including onboarding, safety compliance, technical skills, and leadership development
Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions, including new employee/contractor orientation, site‑specific inductions, and competency‑based field training
Collaborate with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), operations, and departmental stakeholders to identify training gaps, conduct needs analyses and develop targeted training solutions
Maintain accurate training records, matrices, and dashboards using the company's Learning Management System (LMS) or equivalent tracking tools
Ensure training programs align with provincial/federal regulations, company policies, and site‑specific requirements
Support the Training Lead in scheduling, coordinating external training providers, and managing training logistics
Assist in the development and revision of training and operations materials, including Power Points, work instructions, procedures, and competency checklists
Participate in incident investigations and audits to review training effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities
Requirements
Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Adult Education, Training & Development, or a related field is preferred
Minimum 5 years of relevant training or supervisor experience in industrial settings
Ability to work a 2x2 rotational schedule and commute to site via road and air as needed
Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT)
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and LMS platforms
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
5 years+ Uranium Industry Experience, Preferred
