Job Description
Reporting to the Manager, Recruitment and Retention Coordinators will:
Assist with the development, implementation, and evaluation of recruitment and retention strategies, policies, programs, practices and tactics in local, national and international environments.
Establish and maintain effective external relationships (communities, employers, regulators, post‑secondary institutions) that support collaboration and advance the annual plan and objectives of the Agency.
Provide specialized and complex information on professional licensure, including required national examinations and assessment pathways, to physicians and health professionals considering Saskatchewan as a place to work/practice.
Build trusting relationships with students, residents, physicians and health professionals to influence their decision on where to work/practice.
Utilize, support and troubleshoot software that hosts candidate profiles to ensure the Agency has the insights needed to promote career opportunities and service customers in the recruitment, training and settlement processes.
Lead and maintain the processes focused on candidate engagement to advance progression in the recruitment process including the promotion of incentives, resources for licensing and career opportunities.
Contribute in the sourcing and recruitment activities such as initial screening of profiles and resumes; tracking and reporting to further develop pipelines leading to possible employment.
Conduct research and healthcare career promotion to students and residents.
Support recruitment activities undertaken by the SHRA.
Travel Required
Local, national and international travel is required.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in human resources or commerce/business administration or other relevant field.

Two to three years of experience working with diverse and external clients, ideally in human resource recruitment.
Knowledge of physician and health professional licensure or immigration would be considered an asset.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook and basic skills in Microsoft Excel.
