Responsibilities
Support the design, administration, and continuous improvement of compensation programs aligned with company goals and market trends
Conduct compensation analysis, including internal equity reviews and market benchmarking, to support informed decision-making
Provide guidance to leaders on salary decisions, job evaluations, and compensation structures
Support and administer the annual compensation review process, ensuring consistency and alignment across the organization
Support the effective administration of employee benefits programs and act as a liaison with providers for renewals and plan improvements
Review payroll outputs to identify trends, errors, or inconsistencies and support resolution of complex or escalated issues
Partner with Payroll & Benefits and shared services to improve payroll accuracy, processes, and overall effectiveness
Provide day-to-day advisory support to leaders and employees on compensation, benefits, payroll, and employee-related matters
Support leaders in addressing employee relations matters in partnership with the HR team
Prepare reports and analysis related to compensation, payroll, and benefits, identifying trends and providing recommendations
Contribute to process improvements, system enhancements, and HR initiatives to increase efficiency and consistency
Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and internal policies related to compensation, payroll, and benefits
Qualifications
Technical Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
4–7+ years of experience in compensation, benefits, payroll, or HR advisory
Strong knowledge of compensation practices, payroll processes, and benefits administration
Experience with HRIS systems (Dayforce experience is an asset)
Knowledge of employment standards, payroll legislation, and benefits regulations
Experience in a manufacturing or multi-site environment is considered an asset
